X4 Digital Labs (Pvt) Ltd is a digital solutions company specializing in digital marketing, web development, software development, and SaaS products. We work with both local and international clients to deliver creative and technology-driven digital experiences. We are looking for a creative and talented Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate should be capable of creating engaging animation explainer videos as well as handling general video editing tasks for marketing, branding, and product communication.

Location: On-Site (Mawanella)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: LKR 40,000 – LKR 60,000 (Based on experience and skills)

Key Responsibilities

Create 2D animation explainer videos for products, services, and marketing campaigns
Edit videos for social media platforms, websites, advertisements, and presentations
Design and animate motion graphics, titles, transitions, and visual effects
Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to understand project requirements
Convert scripts, concepts, or storyboards into compelling video content
Add background music, sound effects, and voiceovers where required
Maintain brand consistency across all video materials
Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in motion graphics, animation explainer videos, and video editing
Strong working knowledge of: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
Good understanding of storytelling, animation timing, and motion design principles
Basic knowledge of color grading, audio syncing, and video optimization
Ability to work on-site, full-time and collaborate with internal teams
Strong attention to detail and creativity

Nice to Have

Experience creating videos for SaaS, tech, or digital marketing companies
Knowledge of character animation and infographic-style videos
Familiarity with current social media video trends
Basic scriptwriting or storyboard skills

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio or showreel showcasing animation explainer videos and video editing work is mandatory
